Report: Manchester United to make £29m Mats Hummels bid

Manchester United are reportedly preparing one final offer for Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels.

The centre-back, who won the World Cup with Germany this summer, has been linked with both Barcelona and United this summer.

However, Dortmund have consistently rejected any interest in their new captain.

According to Bild, United are preparing one final offer of £29m and are confident that the 25-year-old could be tempted to force a move.

United are expected to sign at least one new centre-back before the start of the season.
