Manchester United will try to beat Real Madrid and Arsenal to the signing of Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal, according to reports.
The 28-year-old has been in fine form this season as the Italian side secured a domestic double and progressed to the final of the Champions League.
Vidal has been heavily linked with both Madrid and Arsenal, but Gazzetta dello Sport claims that United have planned talks with his agent this week in an effort to beat them to his signature.
The Chilean playmaker was tipped to join United 12 months ago, but concerns over a long-term knee injury ended the deal.
Vidal joined Juventus in 2011.
