Report: Manchester United back in for Ander Herrera

Manchester United have reportedly renewed their interest in Athletic Bilbao midfielder Ander Herrera after he slipped through their grasp last summer.

The 24-year-old came close to signing for the Premier League outfit last August, but a move broke down at the final moment after a disagreement over the player's value.

According to AS, United have now reignited their interest, with head coach Louis van Gaal also a strong admirer of the Spaniard.

Herrera's release clause stands in the region of £32m.
