Report: Nicolas Otamendi close to Premier League move

Valencia defender Nicolas Otamendi is reportedly closing on a move to a currently unnamed Premier League club.

The 27-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United this summer, while Manchester City have also been credited with an interest in the centre-back.

SillasGol have claimed that Otamendi is closing on a move to England, but his destination has not yet been made clear.

Both Manchester clubs are believed to be in the market for new central defenders before the end of the transfer window.

Otamendi recently returned to Valencia following his exertions at the Copa America this summer.
