Report: No plans to extend Fellaini contract

Manchester United chiefs have reportedly decided against offering Marouane Fellaini a new Old Trafford deal.

The Belgium international has made just 32 league starts since joining the club from Everton in 2013.

Despite his relative lack of action, the 27-year-old has still proved to be an important figure at times for the Red Devils and was said to be keen to extend his current terms.

Fellaini still has more than two years left to run on his deal, however, and according to Goal.com, United are willing to let the contract run down.

It is also claimed in the same report that Louis van Gaal could cash in on the midfielder should he impress with Belgium at next summer's European Championships, having made only one start in the Premier League this term.
