Report: Manchester United offer frustrated Marcus Rashford pay rise

Rashford in line for United pay rise?

Manchester United have reportedly offered Marcus Rashford a bumper new contract in a bid to retain his services at Old Trafford.

The 20-year-old has made just 16 starts in the Premier League this season, with the bulk of his game time coming as a substitute.

According to The Sun, Rashford has made his feelings known to friends regarding his current bit-part role at the club, which has alarmed the United hierarchy.

As a result, the report claims that the England forward has been offered a new deal which would take his weekly salary up to £100,000 from £60,000 in order to keep him from joining a rival club.

Rashford, a product of the United academy, has made 121 appearances for the club's senior team, scoring 31 goals and registering 17 assists.
