Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer calls for the club to sign more "X-factor" players this summer following the arrivals of Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has called on the club to make more "X-factor" signings ahead of the 2019-20 campaign.

The Red Devils have so far brought in Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer, both of whom made their debuts for the club during Saturday's pre-season win over Perth Glory.

The deals hint at a renewed transfer approach for the club compared to the acquisitions of star names such as Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku in recent years, but Solskjaer is still keen to bring in more difference-makers.

"It doesn't matter if they are English, Norwegian, French, Brazilian. You just want good players and good people," he told reporters.

"Quality and speed, of course, is a big thing in football nowadays. The more X-factors you have in a team, the better you are."

United have been heavily linked with moves for Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes and Leicester City centre-back Harry Maguire this summer.
