A report claims that Manchester United outcast Marcos Rojo could be on his way to Fenerbahce until the end of the season.

Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo may reportedly be offered a temporary route out of Old Trafford by Turkish side Fenerbahce.

The Argentina international saw a permanent switch to Everton break down in the closing stages of the English transfer window as the Toffees instead moved for Yerry Mina.

Rojo could be allowed to leave on a temporary basis until next summer, however, with Turkish outlet Fanatik reporting that discussions are ongoing over a loan deal.

Jose Mourinho is expected to sanction the transfer, with the 28-year-old dropping behind Eric Bailly, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and Victor Lindelof for a starting place.

A £16m signing from Sporting Lisbon four years ago, Rojo made just 12 appearances for United last season and was left out of their squad to face Leicester City on Friday night.
