Mourinho to retain Rojo, Darmian services?

Jose Mourinho is reportedly seeking to retain the services of both Marcos Rojo and Matteo Darmian at Manchester United until January at least.

Jose Mourinho has reportedly decided that he wants both Marcos Rojo and Matteo Darmian to stay at Manchester United until at least January.

Rojo made just 12 appearances for the Red Devils last season and was left out of their squad to face Leicester City on Friday night, while Darmian turned out 17 times in all competitions.

As a result, both players have been linked with a departure from Old Trafford, the Argentine said to be on the radar of Fenerbahce and the Italian thought to be interesting several Serie A sides.

However, ESPN claims that Mourinho would like both players to remain at United for the time being, due to injuries to Antonio Valencia and Diogo Dalot as well as the club's failure to recruit a centre-back.

Man United began their Premier League season with a 2-1 win over former champions Leicester City.
