Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho reveals that he will consider signing new players during the January transfer window.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has admitted that he would be willing do business for 'the right player' during the January transfer window.

On Friday, Mourinho revealed that defender Eric Bailly could be missing until March due to ankle surgery, and Luke Shaw and Henrikh Mkhitaryan have both been linked with an exit from Old Trafford.

Mourinho has suggested that he is not the biggest fan of making new signings midway through the season, but says that he could make an approach should one of his targets become available.

The 54-year-old told reporters: "I'm not a big defender of the January market, but there are players and situations that sometimes you have the chance to do and you shouldn't lose that chance.

"I don't like the January market just to buy. But if you can buy one you would buy in June for July, with the chance a few months before, then great."

United have been credited with an interest in Chelsea playmaker Willian, while Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has revealed that long-term United target Antoine Griezmann could leave the Spanish giants in the future.
