Jose Mourinho expecting one more new arrival this summer

Jose Mourinho is "confident" of bringing one more player to Manchester United before the transfer window closes for business.

Jose Mourinho has said that he is "confident" of bringing one more player to Manchester United in this summer's transfer window.

United have brought Fred, Diogo Dalot and Lee Grant to Old Trafford ahead of the 2018-19 campaign, and it is understood that Mourinho wants another centre-back and a winger to complete his summer business.

Mourinho feels that he will be able to make one more new signing, and has insisted that it would 'not be a drama' if the Red Devils fail to secure another.

"I am confident I will get one, but I think two I am not going to get - which is not a drama," Mourinho told beIN Sports. "In every pre-season it happens the same, with every club, which is that the manager wants more.

"It's our nature, you always want more for your team, but then club decisions are different and normally you don't get what you want, which happened during all my career. So, if I get one player until the end of the market, that's fine."

United will continue their preparations for the 2018-19 campaign with a pre-season clash against European champions Real Madrid on Tuesday night.
