Meunier open to PSG exit amid Man United speculation

Thomas Meunier has revealed that he is open to leaving Paris Saint-Germain this summer and says that "a dozen clubs" are interested in signing him.

The Belgian right-back struggled to hold down a regular spot in PSG's lineup last season, starting exactly half of their Ligue 1 matches.

With just 12 months to run on his Parc des Princes contract, a number of sides - Manchester United and Arsenal among them - have been tipped to make a move for the 27-year-old ahead of next season.

Just like teammate Adrien Rabiot this summer, Meunier may now leave PSG as a free agent at the end of the 2019-20 campaign unless an offer is tabled over the coming weeks.

"[A move] is something that could suit me," he told Le Parisien. "I don't think the club would make a lot of money from me, actually.

"I have a market value, but I'm a defender, I play one game out of three and I'm turning 28. It's not like Adrien, who is worth €50m.

"There have been phone calls since January with interested clubs. There are a dozen clubs, all of which are in the top five of their leagues."

PSG are believed to be after £20m for Meunier, who is currently away on international duty.
