Juan Mata: 'Manchester United will attract world-class players'

Juan Mata is convinced that Manchester United will still attract world-class players this summer.

Juan Mata has insisted that Manchester United manager David Moyes can bring world-class players to the club in the summer.

United are currently seventh in the Premier League, 11 points outside the Champions League places, but Mata believes that players will still be eager to move to Old Trafford despite the club's recent troubles.

"I don't know what will happen in the summer but the manager said the other day at a press conference that he's going to be signing players," the Spaniard told Canal Plus.

"I think this club is at a stage of change, but I can tell you that the best players in the world will always arrive."

Mata became United's record signing in January when he joined from Chelsea in a £37m deal.
