Manchester United want Raul Jimenez, Ruben Neves in January?

Manchester United are exploring the possibility of signing Wolverhampton Wanderers duo Raul Jimenez and Ruben Neves this month, according to a report.

Manchester United are reportedly exploring the possibility of signing Wolverhampton Wanderers duo Raul Jimenez and Ruben Neves during the January transfer window.

The Red Devils are believed to be in the market for both a new striker and a new central midfielder this month due to their limited options in the two areas of the field.

According to Goal.com, United have approached Wolves to enquire over the availability of Jimenez and Neves, with the former emerging as a leading target in the final third of the field.

The 28-year-old has scored 17 times in 33 appearances at club level during the 2019-20 campaign, including eight goals in 21 Premier League outings.

Neves, meanwhile, has excelled for Wolves since surprisingly joining the club from Porto in July 2017.

The Portugal international has already made 31 appearances for Nuno Espirito Santo's side this season and is seemingly viewed as the ideal player to improve United's options in midfield.

Both Jimenez and Neves featured in Saturday's goalless draw with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team in the third round of the FA Cup.
