Manchester United 'to sell Lingard, Pereira'

Manchester United are reportedly willing to sell Jesse Lingard and Andreas Pereira after agreeing a deal for Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek.

Manchester United are reportedly keen to part ways with Jesse Lingard and Andreas Pereira before the end of the summer transfer window.

While both players were already likely to struggle for opportunities next season, the impending arrival of Donny van de Beek will make things more difficult for the pair.

According to the Daily Mail, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is happy to cash in on both players as soon as possible.

With less than a year remaining on his contract at Old Trafford, United have been open to offers for Englishman Lingard for a number of months.

Brazil international Pereira, who made 40 appearances last season, is likely to have interest from clubs both home and abroad.

As well as wanting to raise transfer funds, Solskjaer wishes to make space in his squad for another centre-back and forward-minded player.
