Manchester United want to beat Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham Hotspur to the signature of AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie, according to a report.

Manchester United are reportedly determined to beat Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham Hotspur to the signature of AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie.

The Ivory Coast international's contract at San Siro is due to expire next June, meaning that, as it stands, he will be able to hold discussions with foreign clubs at the start of next month.

PSG and Spurs have both allegedly already offered deals to the midfielder, who is seemingly preparing to leave Milan next year in search of pastures new.

However, according to Italian journalist Rudy Galetti, Man United are now 'moving decisively' for Kessie, with the Red Devils prepared to offer him €10m (£8.5m) a year to move to Old Trafford.

The 24-year-old has again been an important player for his Italian club during the 2021-22 campaign, making 19 appearances in all competitions, contributing three goals and one assist.

The 20-time English champions are expected to sign at least one new midfielder next year, as Paul Pogba is seemingly preparing to leave the club on a free transfer for the second time in his career.
