Manchester United are reportedly currently holding discussions with experienced forward Edinson Cavani over a move to Old Trafford.
The 33-year-old is available on a free transfer this summer, having left Paris Saint-Germain following the expiration of his contract.
According to Sky Sports News, the 20-time English champions are in talks over a potential deal for the Uruguay international, who is PSG's all-time leading goalscorer with 200 goals in all competitions.
Cavani struggled to hold down a regular spot for the French champions last season but still scored seven times in 22 appearances, including one goal in three Champions League outings.
Anthony Martial is currently United's number one centre-forward, while Odion Ighalo will remain with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side until at least January.
The Red Devils are also still allegedly attempting to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund despite the German side reiterating that the England international is not for sale.
