Manchester United pull out of Pedro deal as Chelsea pounce?

Manchester United reportedly end their interest in signing Barcelona forward Pedro as Chelsea close in on a deal for the Spaniard.

Manchester United have reportedly pulled out of a move to sign Barcelona forward Pedro as Chelsea close in on a deal for the Spaniard.

The Red Devils were expected to land the 28-year-old after reports claimed that chief executive Ed Woodward had flown to Spain to finalise the transfer.

However, Premier League champions Chelsea are now favourites to bring the player to England for around £21m, according to Sky Sports News.

Pedro is understood to be on his way to London to undergo a medical with Jose Mourinho's side, with a move likely to be completed by the end of the week.
