Man Utd to extend Falcao loan?

Radamel Falcao may have the opportunity to prove his critics wrong at Manchester United as the club have reportedly considered extending the striker's loan deal.

United secured the Colombian's services on loan from Monaco last summer, and they have the option to make the deal permanent for a reported £43.2m in June.

Falcao's struggles to find his best form in the Premier League were expected to ruin his chances of a permanent move to Old Trafford, but The Mirror claims that the club are willing to give the 29-year-old another chance.

The report suggests that executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward is in talks with Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev about another six-month loan deal which would give United the opportunity to buy the forward in January.

Falcao has scored just four times this season.
