Report: Manchester United to make move for Porto's Bruno Martins Indi

Manchester United are planning to swoop for Porto and Netherlands defender Bruno Martins Indi, according to reports.

The 22-year-old played under current Red Devils manager Louis van Gaal when the two were part of the Oranje setup at the World Cup this summer.

The Daily Star claims that United, looking to exploit this connection, will make a bid for the former Feyenoord man in January.

The Old Trafford outfit have found themselves short at the back following a succession of injuries to defenders in recent weeks.
