Man Utd 'step up Dejan Kulusevski pursuit'

Manchester United are allegedly attempting to secure a deal for Atalanta BC midfielder Dejan Kulusevski ahead of the January transfer window.

After contributing three goals and five assists during his loan spell with Parma, the 19-year-old has emerged as a transfer target for a number of top European clubs.

While Inter Milan, Liverpool and Arsenal have also been linked with the Swede, FCInterNews claims that United have already lodged a bid for the prospect.

The report says that the north-west giants are willing to pay £21m for the youngster, who still has over three-and-a-half years on his Atalanta contract.

However, it is suggested that his parent club are not prepared to accept any offers below their valuation of £30m.

Kulusevski is likely to remain with Parma until the end of the season unless any of the interested clubs are prepared to meet that figure.
