Man Utd 'receive Bellingham transfer boost'

Manchester United have seemingly been handed a boost in their efforts to secure a deal for Birmingham City youngster Jude Bellingham.

With the 16-year-old having already attended the club's training ground for talks, United's interest in the prospect has been well-documented.

Although there have been varying reports regarding competition for the teenager, Borussia Dortmund are known to be keen on the player.

However, the German side's sporting director Michael Zorc has suggested that they may be ready to take a backseat in the transfer market due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Speaking to Kicker, Zorc said: "This summer will be unpleasant. After all, we don't know when to start playing again. There is a lot of uncertainty in all clubs. We first have to manage this crisis situation."

Bellingham is expected to cost in the region of £30m.
