Manchester United allegedly have little interest in signing Gareth Bale due to the Real Madrid forward's injury record.

Manchester United reportedly have no interest in signing Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale.

Given his status in the first-team squad, Real are prepared to part ways with the Wales international in one of the next two transfer windows.

The attacker has inevitably been linked with a return to the Premier League, potentially as part of a deal which would see Paul Pogba move in the opposite direction.

However, according to The Mirror, United have no intention of trying to tempt the player into a move to Old Trafford.

While the 30-year-old's injury record is a key factor, United are also not prepared to meet the frontman's wage demands in the short or long term.

Bale has made 10 appearances for club and country since the beginning of the season.
