Man Utd 'confident of keeping Paul Pogba'

Manchester United are reportedly optimistic that Paul Pogba will stay at Old Trafford.

The midfielder has been strongly linked with an exit from the Premier League throughout the season, having only made seven league appearances for the Red Devils throughout the 2019-20 campaign.

However, according to The Independent, very few sides would be willing to meet United's £100m valuation of the 27-year-old amid the coronavirus pandemic, with many clubs having their transfer plans put on hold as a result of the crisis.

The report also claims that the impressive form of Bruno Fernandes has softened United's stance on Pogba, although the 20-time English champions will reportedly accept no less than the record-breaking £89m they paid for the former Juventus man back in 2016.

Pogba has registered 31 goals in 143 appearances for United since his return from Italy in 2016.
