Man United 'weighing up offer for Rodrigo'

Manchester United are reportedly weighing up an offer for Valencia striker Rodrigo after losing Marcus Rashford to injury.

Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed on Sunday that Rashford is facing at least six weeks on the sidelines with a stress fracture of the back.

The England international has been in good form this season, netting 22 times for club and country, and his layoff is expected to force Solskjaer into the winter transfer market.

According to a report in Spain, Valencia's Rodrigo is one of a number of players being considered by United to fill Rashford's void.

Rodrigo has been capped 21 times by Spain and has scored 27 La Liga goals for Valencia in the last two-and-a-half seasons.

The report also indicates that Real Madrid outcast Luka Jovic is another option for Solskjaer, though United may face competition from Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
