Manchester United to sign no players this month?

Manchester United may reportedly end the January transfer window without making any new signings.

Sporting Lisbon's Bruno Fernandes has been heavily linked with a switch to Old Trafford, while a wide range of forwards have been identified as possible arrivals.

However, according to The Athletic, United are no closer to adding any fresh faces to the first-team squad ahead of Friday's deadline.

The report claims that club officials may opt against pushing through any signings until the summer, something which would not ease the growing tension in the stands.
