Man United 'to offload five goalkeepers'

Manchester United are prepared to offload as many as five goalkeepers at the end of the season, according to a report.

The Red Devils are said to be preparing a mass clearout between the sticks below first-team level, including the departures of Theo Richardson and Max Johnstone.

Richardson has made two starts for the club's Under-23s side this term, while Johnstone - the younger brother of fellow keeper Sam - has not made a single appearance at Under-18s level or above.

The Manchester Evening News claims that Dean Henderson and Belgian teenager Ilias Moutha-Sebtaoui are also expected to move on before the start of next season, with the latter recently having a trial with Anderlecht.

Sam Johnstone is a confirmed target for Aston Villa, meanwhile, having impressed on loan with the Championship side this term.
