Manchester United are reportedly prepared to offer Diogo Dalot to Barcelona in a bid to sign Sergino Dest.

Manchester United are reportedly prepared to offer Diogo Dalot to Barcelona in a deal to sign Sergino Dest.

The Red Devils have been looking at right-back targets throughout the summer, with Dest one of the names believed to be on United's wishlist.

Chelsea have also been linked with the Barcelona defender, but United could step up their pursuit in order to fight off interest from Thomas Tuchel's side.

According to Sport, via The Sun, United are set to offer Diogo Dalot as a makeweight in a deal that would see Dest move in the opposite direction.

However, there are doubts over whether the Red Devils would allow their current first-choice right-back to leave the club, while Barcelona are looking for a cash deal to help their financial situation.

The Catalan giants are believed to be looking for a fee in the region of £17m for a player that has three years left on his contract at Camp Nou.
