Manchester United reportedly plan to move for a new centre-back this summer, with Chelsea's Antonio Rudiger on their list of potential targets.

Manchester United will reportedly target a new centre-back in the upcoming transfer window.

The Red Devils are expected to wave goodbye to Phil Jones at the end of the season, while Eric Bailly's future is also being called into question amid his lack of game time.

Raphael Varane has not been without his injury woes in his debut season at the club, meanwhile, and captain Harry Maguire has come under waves of criticism for his performances.

With Ralf Rangnick's side struggling defensively throughout the campaign, the Manchester Evening News claims that a new centre-back is on the agenda ahead of the 2022-23 season.

The report adds that talks have taken place with the representatives of Chelsea's Antonio Rudiger, but the Red Devils are not confident about their chances of landing the soon-to-be free agent.

The Red Devils are also still thought to be keeping an eye on Villarreal's Pau Torres, who has been a regular for Unai Emery's side during their run to the Champions League semi-finals.
