Manchester ready to pip Chelsea to Roberto Lewandowski?

Man United to bid for Lewandowski?

Manchester United are to pip Chelsea to Robert Lewandowski's signature, according to reports.

The Borussia Dortmund striker is one of Europe's hottest properties and United are preparing an offer of around £12m, according to The Mail on Sunday.

The 23-year-old has just one year left on his contract and it is United who currently lead the chase for the Poland international.

United have already bought Japanese international Shinji Kagawa from Dortmund this summer.
