Man United, PSG, Spurs 'locked in battle for Brozovic'

Manchester United are reportedly among a number of clubs who will attempt to sign Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic in 2022.

United supporters were left frustrated with the club's efforts to sign a new midfielder during the summer, a feeling which has boiled over after a number of indifferent performances this season.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Premier League giants may look to rectify the situation by bringing in Croatia international Brozovic.

The 28-year-old, who remains a key player at San Siro, is due to become a free agent at the end of the season, a scenario which will allow him to hold discussions with foreign clubs as soon as January.

While Inter will look to agree fresh terms before then, Brozovic is expected to assess a number of options at the start of next year.

Tottenham Hotspur and Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be interested in signing the player.
