Manchester United have been offered the opportunity to sign Yannick Carrasco from Atletico Madrid.
The Red Devils are aiming to strengthen their squad on deadline day following the news that Christian Eriksen is set to be sidelined for at least three months with an ankle.
Eriksen sustained the injury during a tackle with Andy Carroll in Saturday's FA Cup tie with Reading, and the news has forced United to look at the transfer market.
According to The Telegraph, United have the chance to sign Carrasco after speaking to the player's representatives.
However, the report claims that United boss Erik ten Hag is unsure over whether to bring in the Belgium international on a loan deal.

Carrasco usually operates as a winger, and as a result, he would not be a direct replacement for Eriksen.
The 29-year-old, who is under contract with Atletico until June 2024, seems to be on course to join Barcelona in the summer.
The Catalan giants have a non-mandatory buy option to sign Carrasco as part of the deal that recently saw Memphis Depay join Atletico.
The clause is believed to be around €20m (£17.6m), and Barcelona will have the option to activate the clause at the end of the season.
United have turned their focus to Bayern Munich midfielder Marcel Sabitzer, as they try to recruit a new midfielder before today's 11pm deadline.
