Everton will reportedly be offered two Manchester United players as a sweetener in any deal that would see Leighton Baines join the Red Devils.

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson will reportedly offer two players to Everton on a loan basis in order to complete the signing of Leighton Baines.

Ferguson has reportedly identified the England full-back as the ideal candidate to replace Patrice Evra, who turned 31 last month.

However, recent speculation has claimed that Everton boss David Moyes is reluctant to part with the defender.

As a result, he will be offered two of Park Ji-Sung and the Da Silva twins Fabio and Rafael as a sweetener to ensure that the deal goes through, according to Goal.com.

United are said to be preparing to make a £12m offer for the 27-year-old.
