Juventus midfielder Arthur is not a target for Manchester United despite recent suggestions, according to a report.

Manchester United are reportedly not looking to bring Juventus midfielder Arthur to Old Trafford before the January transfer window closes for business.

The Brazilian has been strongly linked with Arsenal in recent weeks, but it is understood that a proposed move to the Emirates Stadium has collapsed.

There have been suggestions that Man United are also interested in the midfielder, who has made 15 appearances for the Old Lady during the 2021-22 campaign.

Juventus are allegedly hoping to move Arthur on in order to complete a late deal for Borussia Monchengladbach's Denis Zakaria.

However, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Man United - thought to be keen on acquiring a new central midfielder - are not considering signing the South American on loan for the rest of the season.

The 20-time English champions have also been linked with a move for Ousmane Dembele, as the France international prepares to leave Barcelona before the end of the winter window.
