Manchester United view Everton forward Richarlison as a potential transfer target, according to a report.

Everton forward Richarlison is reportedly being considered as a potential signing by Manchester United.

The 22-year-old scored five Premier League goals for Watford during the 2017-18 campaign before earning a move to Everton, where he managed 14 strikes in 38 appearances last season.

The attacker - now a regular member of the Brazil squad - has contributed four goals and two assists in 14 outings this term. including two goals and two assists in the Premier League.

According to the London Evening Standard, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is attracted by Richarlison's ability to play in a number of different forward positions, and the South American is being monitored by the Red Devils.

United allowed both Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez to leave over the summer without signing replacements, and goals have been hard to come by in the early stages of the 2019-20 season.

Indeed, Aston Villa, Bournemouth, Brighton & Hove Albion, West Ham United, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Burnley are among 12 teams to have outscored the English giants in the Premier League this season.

Juventus's Mario Mandzukic, Lyon's Moussa Dembele and Red Bull Salzburg's Erling Haaland have also all been linked with switches to Old Trafford in recent months.
