Man United 'given hope in Jude Bellingham race'

Manchester United's hopes of signing Jude Bellingham this summer have reportedly been boosted with Borussia Dortmund struggling to agree a deal with Birmingham City.

Bellingham has been strongly linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent months, although a recent report claimed that Dortmund had won the race for the 16-year-old.

The teenager has allegedly already been shown around United's training ground as the 20-time English champions look to sign a player who has made 32 Championship appearances this season.

According to Bild, Bellingham has agreed a deal with Dortmund, but the Bundesliga giants are finding it difficult to settle on a fee with Birmingham.

The midfielder, who has a contract at St Andrew's until next summer, has contributed four goals and three assists in 35 appearances for the Blues during the 2019-20 campaign.

United will resume their 2019-20 Premier League season with a trip to Tottenham Hotspur on Friday, where a victory would move them into fourth spot in the table.
