Manchester United are reportedly weighing up a summer move for Rostov midfielder Mathias Normann.
The 24-year-old was contracted to Brighton & Hove Albion between 2017 and 2019 but failed to make a single first-team appearance for the club before joining Rostov.
Normann played under United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer during a loan spell at Molde, though, and according to Calciomercato, the Red Devils are considering an offer ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
The report claims that the Norway international is viewed as a cheaper alternative to the likes of Ajax's Donny van de Beek and Aston Villa's Jack Grealish as United look to sign a new midfielder this summer.
Normann, who is thought to be valued in the region of £15m, has also previously been linked with the likes of Valencia and Tottenham Hotspur.
The former Lofoten youngster has scored once and provided three assists in 19 appearances for his Russian side during the 2019-20 campaign.
