Man United 'desperate to seal Bellingham deal'

Manchester United are allegedly desperate to secure a deal for Birmingham City youngster Jude Bellingham.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that Bellingham and his parents had spent time at United's training ground, where they held talks with chief executive Ed Woodward.

However, the Premier League giants face competition for the teenager's signature, notably from the likes of Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund.

According to the Evening Standard, United are prepared to pay in the region of £30m to see off their rivals for the 16-year-old's services.

The North-West outfit reportedly hope that Bellingham will strive to become the latest prospect to establish himself as a first-team player at Old Trafford.

Despite his age, Bellingham has contributed four goals and two assists from 32 appearances in the Championship this season.
