Jesse Lingard joins Brighton & Hove Albion on loan

Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard has been allowed to move to Brighton & Hove Albion on loan for the remainder of the season.

The 21-year-old leaves Old Trafford for a second time during the current campaign after previously playing 13 times during a similar spell with Birmingham City.

The England Under-21 international returned to his parent club at the turn of the year, but he has now been given permission to join Oscar Garcia's outfit until May.

Lingard is expected to feature when Brighton travel to The Den to face Millwall on Saturday.
