Barcelona president Joan Laporta indicates that the Catalan giants could still make further signings this summer despite experiencing problems with player registrations.

Barcelona club president Joan Laporta has indicated that there could still be further addition's to Xavi's side.

The Catalan giants have signed Robert Lewandowski, Andreas Christensen, Franck Kessie, Raphinha and Jules Kounde this summer.

However, while four of the five additions were registered on Friday in time for Saturday's opening league game after selling off 24.5% in Barca Studios, Barcelona were still unable to complete the registration of Kounde.

Despite their current wage bill preventing players from being registered, Laporta has refused to rule out further signings in the current transfer window.

Speaking to DAZN after Barcelona's goalless draw with Rayo Vallecano, the club president said: "Exits are still being worked on. There is still time for some incorporations into the team."

Bernardo Silva has been linked with the La Liga club, while Marcos Alonso is set to join from Chelsea, but for new signings to be completed, there must be player sales.

Barcelona are looking to offload Frenkie de Jong, who is being pursued by Manchester United and Chelsea, while the likes of Memphis Depay and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have been linked with moves away.
