Juventus to rival Manchester United for Valencia midfielder Ferran Torres?

Manchester United reportedly face competition from Juventus in the race to sign Valencia midfielder Ferran Torres.

Despite being regarded as a key man at the Mestalla, the 20-year-old has just 12 months remaining on his contract, inevitably leading to speculation regarding his long-term future.

On Monday, it was suggested that the winger's agent had been in contact with United officials to enquire about the possibility of a deal being agreed.

However, according to Onda Cero, Juventus are at an advanced stage in negotiations with Torres and his representatives.

After confirming a part-exchange deal involving Arthur and Miralem Pjanic, much could depend on whether Juventus are able to make player sales over the coming months.

Torres has contributed six goals and six assists in La Liga and the Champions League this season.
