Juventus 'open Radamel Falcao talks with AS Monaco'

Juventus reportedly start discussions with Monaco over the potential transfer of Manchester United loan striker Radamel Falcao.

Juventus have reportedly begun negotiations with AS Monaco in a bid to seal a move for Colombian striker Radamel Falcao.

Falcao joined Manchester United in a lucrative loan deal last summer, with a view to a £43m permanent switch at the end of this season.

However, worries over Falcao's fitness and the fact that he has only scored four goals for the Red Devils will mean that the club will not be taking up that option, according to the Daily Mail.

That has opened up the opportunity for Juve to move for the ex-Atletico Madrid frontman as they look to recruit two new strikers.

Former United attacker Carlos Tevez has only a year left on his current contract and is unlikely to sign another while Fernando Llorente is also expected to leave the Italian champions in the summer.

The Bianconeri are expected to bid for Palermo striker Paulo Dybala as well as Falcao, who has been included in United's squad for their trip to face bitter rivals Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.
