Jude Bellingham is reportedly prepared to stay at Borussia Dortmund next season if it means avoiding a move that is not right for his career progression.
The midfielder has been a key part of Dortmund's title charges since making the switch from Birmingham City in the summer of 2020, racking up 128 appearances for the German club.
Having already been capped 24 times for England and impressing at last year's World Cup in Qatar, the 19-year-old has been linked with a move away from BVB this summer.
According to talkSPORT, Bellingham would prefer to remain at Dortmund for the 2023-24 campaign than be forced into a transfer that would not be right for his progression.
It is claimed that a whole host of European powerhouses are in the race for the player's signature, including Premier League duo Manchester United and Manchester City, as well as Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
The report adds that Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool are no longer in the running for Bellingham, with the club's recruitment team regarding the fee needed to buy the midfielder as too risky considering the Reds may not qualify for next season's Champions League.
