Manchester United goalkeeper Sam Johnstone joins Preston North End on loan for the remainder of the season.

Manchester United goalkeeper Sam Johnstone has joined Preston North End on loan for the remainder of the 2014-15 campaign.

The 21-year-old, who has been with United since 2009, has recently returned from a loan spell with Doncaster Rovers.

However, the England Under-20 international has not remained at Old Trafford for long as he prepares to join League One outfit Preston.
