Jesse Lingard 'offered to AC Milan, Roma'

AC Milan and Roma have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard on a free transfer.

During January, United rejected the chance to recoup a loan fee for the playmaker in favour of keeping Lingard in the first-team squad for the remainder of the campaign.

However, the 29-year-old has been provided with just 119 minutes of football since the start of February, strengthening the feeling that he will depart United when his contract expires in the summer.

According to journalist Nicolo Schira, the England international is still not short of admirers with Newcastle United and West United continuing to monitor the situation.

Milan and Roma have also allegedly been given the opportunity to stake their claim for Lingard, who has previously played under Roma boss Jose Mourinho.

Aware that he may be inundated with offers in the summer, Lingard could realistically bide his time before making a final decision on his future.
