Inter Milan to rival Manchester United for Steven Bergwijn?

Inter Milan are readying an offer for PSV Eindhoven winger Steven Bergwijn, according to a report.

The Netherlands international has been touted as a possible target for Manchester United, who are themselves in the market for a new wide player.

La Gazzetta dello Sport indicates that United face competition from Inter for the versatile attacker's signature, however, as the Nerazzurri are looking to replace Mauro Icardi - another rumoured option for the Red Devils.

Inter's bitter rivals AC Milan also like the look of Bergwijn, it is claimed, and they would like to add him to the left of their three-man forward line, on the opposite flank to Suso.

As a result of the growing interest in the 21-year-old, his valuation is expected to rise above the £35m mark.
