Javier Hernandez unsure over future

Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez does not know if he will join Real Madrid on a permanent deal.

Javier Hernandez has conceded that he does not know if Real Madrid are planning to secure his services on a permanent basis.

The Mexican has spent much of his season-long loan spell at the Bernabeu from Manchester United on the fringes, but three goals in his last two outings has resulted in suggestions that Los Blancos would be prepared to pay the reported £7.5m asking price.

However, speaking after the 4-2 win over Celta Vigo last night, the 26-year-old admitted that his future was still uncertain.

"More than anything else they've served to give me confidence. I love playing football, it's what makes me feel good," he told reporters.

"Only God knows where I will be this time next year. For the moment, my only plan is to continue enjoying this moment and helping the best team in the world. I'm getting opportunities now and I have to make the most of them."

Hernandez, who has 12 months left to run on his contract at Old Trafford, is not believed to be in United manager Louis van Gaal's plans.
