Fulham seek Dimitar Berbatov loan

Fulham are hoping to sign Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov on loan in the January transfer window.

United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is willing to offload the Bulgarian in the new year, according to The People.

However, Cottagers boss Martin Jol would only be keen on a temporary switch.

Jol brought the 30-year-old to England in 2006 as manager of Tottenham Hotspur.
