Radamel Falcao to Chelsea before Copa America?

Colombia captain Radamel Falcao wants to force through a move to Chelsea before the Copa America begins, according to reports.

Radamel Falcao reportedly wants to finalise his switch to Chelsea before Colombia begin their Copa America campaign on June 14.

The 29-year-old has been heavily linked with the Stamford Bridge club despite enduring a poor season at Manchester United.

The striker, who will captain Colombia for the tournament in Chile, is prepared to take a big pay cut to join Chelsea.

The Telegraph reports Falcao as saying: "It has been speculated a lot about my next team, but I tried to stay calm. I would like to continue in England, we'll decide [my next team] in the coming weeks."

It is believed that Monaco want a £5m loan fee, while Chelsea will then have the option to purchase Falcao for £35m at the end of the season.
