The brother and agent of Edinson Cavani suggests that the Uruguayan forward is likely to depart Manchester United in 2022.

The brother and agent of Manchester United forward Edinson Cavani has revealed that he will entertain all possibilities regarding a potential exit in 2022.

Injury and a lack of opportunities have restricted the Uruguayan to just two starts and six substitute appearances in all competitions this season.

However, at a time when he has just over six months remaining on his contract, the 34-year-old has been linked with a wide range of clubs, including Barcelona and Corinthians.

While it remains unclear whether United would consider parting ways with Cavani in January, Walter Guglielmone has hinted that he is open to a transfer for his client.

Guglielmone is quoted by Globo Esporte as saying: "We have to wait a bit, we will see what possibilities exist.

"Obviously, if any team from Brazil comes up with a good project, we can always listen. I have an obligation to send all options to Cavani."

The player is free to reach a pre-contract agreement with a foreign club from as early as next month.
